During these difficult times and the coronavirus pandemic, children in and around Watford spread some joy and positivity by putting up pictures and drawings of rainbows in their windows.

“Chase the Rainbow” is a national campaign and Watford is now part of it, as rainbows have started to brighten up many windows around town. The trend began online and many schools across the country are encouraging their pupils to join in.

The idea behind the campaign is that children can go out for a walk once a day, however, they are not able to see their friends. Thus, when looking at their friends’ windows rainbow pictures work as a sign of hope that this will all end soon!

Share your rainbow pictures with us on social media and lets all help spread some positivity and lift spirits during these uncertain times! It could be drawings that you or your children have created and/or pictures of any that you have spotted on your daily walks.
