Applications for Watford Fringe- Now Open.  3rd and 4th October 2020

Applications for Watford Fringe are now open. The Pump House have decided to go ahead with applications to get ready for this exciting festival in October.

As everything has changed this year, the Pump House team have worked hard to plan a flexible set of safe venue options that incorporate social distancing and other considerations. Online facilities have been added so that the events can reach an audience that cannot or are reluctant to attend live events in person. Any last-minute changes in government or health advice, have also been taken under consideration.

Watford Fringe should provide a safe, flexible option for performers and audiences to enjoy quality artistic events during a period when larger events have not been available for us all to enjoy.

1st Stage

To be part of the Watford Fringe (WatFringe) and included in the programme, you will need to register your event online by completing and submitting an online event registration through Eventotron: You will need to set up an account with Eventotron, then click on Festivals and click on Watford Fringe. Welcome back to Watford town centre – shop local, stay safe

Watford town centre, and other retail areas across the town, are gearing up to welcome people back as non-essential shops and venues have started to re-open, with a range of measures in place to make sure they can shop safely and with confidence.

Shops and businesses are doing what is needed to keep their staff and customers safe. We are looking forward to welcoming people back to the High Street and other shopping areas across the town. Whilst they may look and feel a bit different, we are all looking forward to a return of some sort of normality, bringing vibrancy back to the town!

Watford businesses have done an amazing job to make sure they can open safely, while we all as individuals should do our part keeping a safe distance from others and washing or sanitising our hands regularly.
