Watford’s Mayor, Peter Taylor
Peter Taylor became Watford’s elected Liberal Democrat Mayor on 4 May 2018.
He is a former school teacher and lives locally with his three young children.

Last year was an eventful one – as a borough we celebrated our centenary and we welcomed back some of our great Big Events, including the big beach and Imagine Watford.But it was also a difficult year for many with the cost-of-living crisis continuing to hit, the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II and political turmoil leading to economic problems.I hope that this year, 2023, will bring happiness and that we will continue to work together as a community.”
